LOCATION
The Delphian School is located on 800 acres in the heart of the magnificent Pacific
Northwest in the Willamette Valley. The campus of meadows, forests, and rolling
hills is near the Oregon coast, the mountains, and the cities of Portland and Salem—50
miles southwest of Portland, 35 miles from Lincoln City, and 30 miles northwest
of Salem.
On weekends there are many educational, cultural and recreational outings, social
events and outdoor activities. All these activitites serve to give the ESL (English-as-a-Second
Language) students many opportunities to learn English more quickly than in a purely
academic setting, and they are fun.
The school provides transportation for students to local health practitioners, hospital
facilities, churches and the local public library. Transportation to and from the
airport, bus stations, and train depots can also be arranged. During the beginning
and end of terms, there are regularly scheduled arrival and departure dates and
times.
